Centrifugal Jet pump’s volute chamber and impeller are designed to give the possible hydraulic efficiency and suction lift characteristics. Sealing is by means of a bellows mechanical seal is fitted over the shaft. These pumps are power-driven by a motor. Stator part is made of silicon steel lamination, whereas the rotor ensures vibration and noise free operation thereby increasing the bearing life. Life cycle of motor is increased because of its high performance and low temperature rise. All single-phase pumps require an adequate starter / motor protection control panel. These are available in twin type and packer type versions.
Packer Jet Pump:
The casing of tube does the function of pressure pipe in which pressurized water flows through the tube-well casing and enters the nozzle. Hence, suction pipe is eliminated. However, this pump requires a bore, which is cased throughout with smooth seamless pipe.
Twin Type Jet Pump:
There are two pipes namely suction pipe and pressure pipe. Pressure pipe connects jet assembly to the pump. Pressurized water flows through the pressure pipe to nozzle from the pump casing. Water is sucked through the foot valve and passed through the nozzle, mix together and flow through suction pipe into the pump.
